Jon met us on time giving us a summary of what to expect on the tour. This 9/11 tour provides an in-depth interesting personal tour explaining the history of the surrounding historic building along with facts from the day and the emergency services and the timeline of the new buildings and memorial this gave great understanding and respect for the event that changed history forever. Jon's skill is bringing all the stories alive so you really feel connected. Another great tour and I would highly recommend

This is a phenomenal tour, a must do in NYC! John has studied this topic in detail and delivers a thrilling tour that includes fascinating facts, details about what happened on 9/11, but also how it affected the USA afterwards, debunking/discussing conspiracy theories, and also tells stories of people who were affected on this day and the people who are the heroes of this tragic event. The tour is fascinating!

David is very knowledgeable. I love how he used battery park forte, skyscraper museum and American Indian museum as anchor points to introduce the history of manhattan. If you like to know a little more about the city, this is your tour

Oscar is very knowledgeable

I was lucky to have a private tour of the 9/11, albeit a bit intimidating. Jon is an absolute fountain of knowledge and I was in awe of his ability to memorise facts, names and numbers. He gave me a comprehensive run of the events leading up and during 9/11, and showed lots of photos and personal stories and facts. I learned lots of stuff I was not aware of. This is a tour to be respectful and reflect on this harrowing historical event with its deep human and infrastructure impact, and to find out how NY has rebuild from the ashes to honour those who lost their lives.

Great tour around lower Manhattan, showing us the historical highlights of the city and America’s origins. Favourites included Francis Tavern, Streets of “Little Amsterdam”, Defiant Girl outside the NY Stock Exchange, the lit path down to Ground Zero memorial. Thanks , Gabriel, for the Eataly recommendation inside the Occulus; great meal to celebrate our days in NYC.

Thoroughly enjoyed my tour this morning with Jon. He was very entertaining and interesting and kept me hooked throughout the tour. This tour included a great mix of history, finance and architecture. Scott has a great knack for sharing interesting, often lesser known details about people, buildings and events in the tour area. He even encourages going into some buildings that you may think can only be viewed from the exterior so that you get a much better sense of the architecture and historical significance.
